As announced, 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay's blockbuster 'Mersal' is all set to hit the screens in about 600 theatres across Tamil Nadu, tomorrow the 18th October. The theatres in the city are buzzing with fans standing in long queues to grab the tickets for the 'first day first show'. However, the theatres have held back the sale of tickets for tomorrow's show, leaving the fans disappointed.

"At present, the theatres are selling tickets only for Thursday (19th October) shows. The thrill of watching first day first show is now a big question mark?", said Naveen, a Vijay fan standing near Kiruthika Theatre, Edayarpalayam.

Another ardent Vijay fan, Vishnu from the City, shared "I am hundred percent confident that 'Mersal' will be a huge hit among the masses. AR Rahman's music is an added plus for the movie. And, I can't hold back my excitement to watch the movie, as Vijay plays a triple role in the movie".
"We are certain that there is a hidden message in 'Mersal' about Vijay's political entry", asserted another zealous fan from KG theatre Complex.
While Vijay fans are keeping their fingers crossed to get their 'first day first show' tickets, there are half a dozen of movies - Chennaiyil Oru Naal -2, Aram, Pottu, Meyadha Maan and Kodi Veeran scheduled for release on the day of Deepavali.
